- (demineralization) in adults may include bowleg, the vertebrae is shortened
- vertically and softening of bones, especially the legs, spine and pelvis.
- CAUSES include inadequate exposure to sunlight, poor utilization or
- malabsorption of vitamin D and inadequate intake of vitamin D.
- TREATMENT. Doses of vitamin D. Consult a nutritionist.
